FBS Review

FBS review for traders in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, India, Pakistan and Malaysia: the Belize entity, published costs, which countries it excludes and our score.

FBS offers a USD 5 entry point, commission-free pricing and many local payment methods, all through a Belize-licensed company. It does not serve Malaysia, is on the RBI Alert List, and its homepage does not name the legal entity behind it.

Which FBS entity will you sign up with?

Your protection depends on the entity that opens your account, not on the strongest license in the group. This is who serves each region, taken from the broker's legal disclosures and checked on the regulator's register where one is published. Every source is listed at the end of the review.

FBS is one of the most heavily marketed brokers in Asia, with a minimum deposit of USD 5 and leverage up to 1:3000. Traders in our countries would deal with FBS Markets Inc., a company licensed in Belize. Its separate Cyprus and Australian companies don’t serve our readers.

Is FBS regulated?

FBS Markets Inc. is licensed by the Financial Services Commission of Belize, license 000102/460 according to independent broker databases. Belize is tier 3 in our model. One thing counted against FBS: the fbs.com homepage we checked shows awards and trading conditions but no legal entity or license number, so we had to rely on third-party listings for them. We’ll confirm against FBS’s legal documents at the next re-check.

FBS in your country

  • Malaysia: FBS Markets Inc. lists Malaysia among the countries it doesn’t serve, even though FBS runs community campaigns there.
  • India: FBS is on the Reserve Bank of India’s Alert List of unauthorised forex platforms. We don’t link to brokers from our India pages.
  • UAE, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan: no local license found.
  • Elsewhere: Brazil’s CVM (2017) and Panama’s securities regulator (2012) have both warned that FBS Markets wasn’t authorised to offer services there.

Costs

FBS advertises zero trading commission and spreads from 0.7 pips. Its MetaTrader 5 broker listing gives typical spreads of 0.9 pips on EUR/USD, 1.0 on GBP/USD, 1.1 on USD/JPY and 2.0 on gold. Those are the figures we log, and they’re competitive for a commission-free account.

Deposits and withdrawals

FBS says it supports more than 200 local payment methods, with deposits from USD 5 and withdrawals from two hours. Those are its own claims.

Platforms and accounts

You can trade more than 550 instruments on MT4, MT5 and the FBS app, which also handles deposits and withdrawals. FBS claims order execution from 0.01 seconds and no requotes. Leverage up to 1:3000 means a 0.03% move against you can wipe out your margin.

Who FBS suits

FBS suits small-account traders in the Gulf and Pakistan who want a very low entry point and local payment options, and who accept a Belize license. Malaysian residents aren’t served, and Indian residents face the RBI listing.
