Forex Trading by Country

Whether forex trading is legal where you live, which regulator oversees it, and which broker entities actually serve India, Pakistan, the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Malaysia.

The rules for trading forex change a lot depending on where you live. In the UAE you can open an account with a locally licensed broker. In India, trading forex with an overseas online platform breaks RBI rules. Most brokers also serve each country through a different company, which means different protection for the same brand.

Each country page below gives you the short legal answer first, then the local regulator, the payment methods people actually use, and the broker pages we have checked for that country.
