Forex trading in Malaysia
Legal position, local regulator, payment methods and the brokers that accept traders from Malaysia.
Is forex trading legal in Malaysia?
Malaysians can trade forex, but only firms licensed by the Securities Commission Malaysia may offer leveraged products to residents onshore. A Labuan license does not by itself allow a broker to serve Malaysian residents, and the SC lists unlicensed platforms on its investor alert list.
