Exness Review

Exness review for traders in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, India, Pakistan and Malaysia: the offshore entities behind exness.com, withdrawals, regulator warnings and our score.

Exness serves Asian and Gulf traders through five offshore entities, all tier 3 in our model. Its automated withdrawals and low costs are real strengths, but it holds no license in any of our five countries and is on the RBI Alert List.

Which Exness entity will you sign up with?

Your protection depends on the entity that opens your account, not on the strongest license in the group. This is who serves each region, taken from the broker's legal disclosures and checked on the regulator's register where one is published. Every source is listed at the end of the review.

Exness calls itself the world’s largest retail broker, and for traders in Asia and the Gulf it is one of the most searched names in forex. What you sign up with, though, is one of five offshore companies listed in the exness.com footer. Its UK and Cyprus entities don’t serve our readers: the footer says the global entities don’t take clients from the UK or Europe.

Is Exness regulated?

Yes, but offshore. The main international entity is Exness (SC) Ltd, a securities dealer licensed by the Financial Services Authority of Seychelles (SD025), which also holds an over-the-counter derivatives provider authorisation from South Africa’s FSCA. Alongside it sit Exness B.V. (Central Bank of Curaçao and Sint Maarten), Exness (VG) Ltd (FSC BVI), Exness (MU) Ltd (FSC Mauritius) and Forexite Ltd (FSC Belize). All five are tier 3 in our model.

The footer lists every entity and its license, which is more than many brokers publish. What it doesn’t say is which entity onboards a client from a given country, so check the name on your client agreement.

Exness in your country

  • UAE and Saudi Arabia: no local license found. Clients would be onboarded by one of the offshore entities.
  • India: Exness is on the Reserve Bank of India’s Alert List of unauthorised forex platforms. We don’t link to brokers from our India pages.
  • Pakistan and Malaysia: no local license found.
  • Philippines: the Philippine SEC issued a warning in August 2026 that Exness was operating without the required license. It’s outside our five launch countries, but it’s the most recent regulator notice we found.

Withdrawals

Withdrawal speed is Exness’s main selling point. It says over 98% of withdrawals are processed automatically, and it defines its “fastest withdrawals” claim against three other brokers as of May 2025. That’s the broker’s own figure. Automatic processing on Exness’s side doesn’t control how long your bank or payment provider then takes.

Costs and accounts

Exness publishes average spreads for the previous trading day on its homepage and markets swap-free trading on popular assets, subject to terms. It also claims its Pro account spreads were 50% lower than the average of 15 other brokers on 28 forex pairs in one April 2026 week. We haven’t yet captured a typical standard-account EUR/USD cost from its own pages, so The Log has no Exness entry for now.

Platforms and support

You can trade on MT4, MT5, the web-based Exness Terminal and the Exness Trade app. Support runs 24/7 by phone, live chat and email in 14 languages, according to Exness.

Is Exness safe?

Exness says client funds sit in separate client accounts and that it offers negative balance protection. Those protections come from the offshore entity, with no investor compensation scheme behind them. The RBI listing and the Philippine SEC warning are country notices about operating without a local license, not findings of fraud, so they appear as country red flags rather than capping the score.

Who Exness suits

Exness suits traders who put fast, automated withdrawals and low trading costs ahead of top-tier regulation. You give up the stronger protection of a tier-1 or tier-2 regulator to get them.
