Tickmill is a UK-founded broker with FCA and CySEC licenses for its home markets. International traders, including most of our readers, are served by Tickmill Ltd, a securities dealer licensed in Seychelles.
Is Tickmill regulated?
Tickmill’s licences page names Tickmill Ltd, regulated as a securities dealer by the Financial Services Authority of Seychelles under license SD008. Seychelles is tier 3 in our model. The group also includes Tickmill UK Ltd (FCA 717270), Tickmill Europe Ltd (CySEC 278/15), Tickmill South Africa (FSCA FSP 49464) and Tickmill Asia Ltd, licensed by the Labuan Financial Services Authority (MB/18/0028).
Tickmill in your country
- UAE: Tickmill UK Ltd has a representative office in the DIFC, regulated by the DFSA (F007663). A representative office can promote the group but doesn’t open trading accounts, so UAE traders still deal with an offshore entity.
- Malaysia: Tickmill Asia holds a Labuan license. A Labuan license doesn’t by itself allow a broker to serve Malaysian residents onshore.
- India: Tickmill is on the Reserve Bank of India’s Alert List. We don’t link to brokers from our India pages.
- Saudi Arabia and Pakistan: no local license found.
Accounts and platforms
Tickmill offers Classic, Pro and VIP accounts, with leverage up to 1:500 through its offshore entities, and segregated client funds across its regulated companies. Platforms include MT4, MT5 and its own Tickmill Trader app. We haven’t yet captured its published spreads or withdrawal times, so it has no Log entry for now.
Complaints
A public complaints forum carries a 2025 thread from a Seychelles-entity client alleging withheld withdrawal funds. We can’t verify single cases, but we watch for patterns.
Who Tickmill suits
Tickmill suits cost-conscious traders who are comfortable with a Seychelles license and want a broker with established UK and EU operations behind the brand.
