FxPro has offered online trading since 1999 and has held an FCA license since 2010. International clients, including our readers, are served by FxPro Global Markets Limited, licensed in The Bahamas.
Is FxPro regulated?
FxPro’s licences page states that FxPro Global Markets Limited is authorised and regulated by the Securities Commission of The Bahamas under license SIA-F184, received in November 2023. It also names Invemonde Trading Ltd, a Seychelles investment dealer working in partnership with FxPro Global Markets. Both are tier 3 in our model. FxPro UK Limited is regulated by the FCA (509956) and is a member of the UK’s compensation scheme, but it only serves UK clients.
Client protection
FxPro offers negative balance protection to all clients as part of its client agreement, keeps client money in segregated accounts at major banks, and says its financial reports are audited by PwC. Those are stronger commitments than most offshore brokers make, and they lift its protection score.
FxPro in your country
- UAE, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Malaysia: no local license found; clients deal with the Bahamas company.
- India: FxPro isn’t on the RBI Alert List, but Indian residents are still limited by FEMA to authorised platforms.
Platforms and markets
FxPro offers more than 2,100 CFDs on MT4, MT5, cTrader (with TradingView charts) and its own app, using a no-dealing-desk execution model. Leverage under the Bahamas entity goes up to 1:200 according to FxPro.
Who FxPro suits
FxPro suits traders who want a long-established broker with every major platform and firm negative balance protection, and who accept a Bahamas license rather than a local one.
