Capital.com is one of the few big CFD brands with an onshore UAE licence, and the Middle East now brings in about half its trading volume, by its own 2025 figures. Traders in the UAE, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia deal with CAPITAL COM MENA SECURITIES TRADING L.L.C. in Dubai. Its UK, Cypriot and Australian companies don’t serve our readers.
Is Capital.com regulated?
The Dubai company holds a Category One licence from the UAE Capital Market Authority (20200000176), first granted in 2024 when the regulator was still called the SCA. That’s tier 2 in our model, and Capital.com’s own country list confirms it serves UAE, Kuwaiti and Saudi clients. One caveat: Gulf clients who fund with USDT are verified under Capital Com Online Investments Ltd, licensed in The Bahamas (SIA-F245), a tier-3 regulator. If you pay in crypto, check which company your account sits with.
Retail clients get negative balance protection and segregated client money. There’s no compensation scheme for UAE clients: the EU investor fund and insurance cover apply only to the Cypriot company.
Capital.com in your country
- UAE, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia: served by the CMA-licensed Dubai company. See the best brokers in the UAE.
- India, Malaysia and Singapore: Capital.com lists all three as countries where it isn’t available. Malaysia’s Securities Commission also added Capital.com to its Investor Alert List in March 2022.
- Pakistan: Capital.com’s own documents contradict each other on whether it accepts Pakistani residents, and offshore forex trading isn’t legal for residents anyway. See forex rules in Pakistan.
Regulator record
CySEC fined the Cypriot company EUR 10,000 in 2022 for filing suspicious-transaction reports late. In 2024 Capital.com paused new UK sign-ups for about a year, which it called a voluntary step; the FCA licence stayed active. We found no fines involving the UAE company.
Costs
There’s no commission on CFDs and no deposit or withdrawal fees. Spreads are variable and Capital.com doesn’t publish a typical EUR/USD figure; BrokerChooser measured about 0.6 pips in September 2026, which would be competitive. Overnight positions pay a 4% yearly platform fee on top of the benchmark rate, and currency conversion costs 0.7% for retail clients.
Deposits and withdrawals
UAE clients can fund in AED or USD by LEAN bank transfer, cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay, from USD 20 by card. Capital.com says 99% of withdrawals were processed within 24 hours in 2025, with a maximum of five business days, and profits must go to a verified bank account.
Platforms and accounts
You get Capital.com’s own web platform and app, plus MT4, MT5, TradingView and an API, with more than 5,500 CFD markets. Swap-free accounts are available for clients in the UAE, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and the rest of the Gulf. The weak point is leverage: Capital.com’s UAE help centre lists up to 500:1 on major currency pairs and on gold, without separating retail from professional clients. DIFC and ADGM brokers cap retail clients at 30:1 on majors.
Who Capital.com suits
Gulf traders who want an onshore UAE licence, AED funding and a polished app, and who will choose their own leverage carefully. It’s not an option for residents of India, Malaysia or Singapore.
