None of the brokers we review is licensed in Kuwait, and we found no Kuwaiti law or regulator statement that stops residents from trading forex with an overseas broker. So the ranking above follows our overall scores, and the part that matters most for a Kuwaiti trader is the table below: the company that would actually hold your money, and how strong its licence is.
Kuwait comparison

How we picked
Every broker here has a full Spreadlog review, and none of them names Kuwait on its published list of restricted countries, checked on 12 October 2026. Only Axi confirms Kuwaiti clients in writing, through its KNET deposit page. Octa is left out for now because Kuwait appears on a third-party copy of its restricted list; we’ll add it back if Octa confirms otherwise. Brokers change these lists without notice, so check that Kuwait appears in the sign-up form before you send money.
The order follows our overall score, which no broker can pay to change. Read how we review brokers.
Forex regulation in Kuwait
Kuwait has no licensing regime for retail forex or CFD brokers. The Capital Markets Authority, set up under Law No. 7 of 2010, regulates securities business and Boursa Kuwait. The Central Bank of Kuwait supervises banks. Neither runs a licence that an online forex broker can hold.
Both the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (August 2024) and the Central Bank (May 2026) have warned people about unlicensed trading platforms promising quick profits. Neither statement makes trading with a regulated overseas broker illegal. What they do mean is that no Kuwaiti authority will help you get money back from one, which is why the licence behind the company matters so much.
Deposits and KNET
Axi is the only broker we review that publishes a KNET deposit method for Kuwaiti residents, with a 10 KWD minimum. With the others, expect cards, bank wire and e-wallets. Before you deposit, check two things: that withdrawals go back by the same method, and that the receiving account is in the broker’s company name, not a person’s.
Islamic (swap-free) accounts: what to check
- Whether overnight swaps are replaced by a fixed holding fee, and how much it is.
- How many days a position can stay open before that fee starts.
- Whether the broker can switch your account back to swaps if it decides you’re abusing the terms.
Common questions
Is forex trading legal in Kuwait?
We found nothing in Kuwaiti law or regulator guidance that bars residents from trading forex with an overseas broker. Kuwait simply doesn’t license retail forex brokers, so the protection you get depends entirely on the overseas regulator behind your account.
Which forex brokers are regulated in Kuwait?
None of the international brokers we review. Kuwait has no licence for retail forex brokers, so a broker claiming to be “Kuwait regulated” deserves a close look.
Which forex brokers accept KNET?
Of the brokers we review, only Axi publishes a KNET deposit option for Kuwaiti residents, with a minimum of 10 KWD.
Does a DFSA or ADGM licence protect Kuwaiti traders?
Not usually. Those licences cover the UAE’s financial free zones, and brokers typically put Kuwaiti clients with an offshore company instead. Check which company your client agreement names.
